Over 30 years ago, Ruthie McAlexander started the tradition of planting flowers around Mt. View Orchards. Friends of the farm always look for the familiar plots of vibrant dahlias and towering hollyhocks that greet them as they make their annual u-picking visits. Many locals visit us to cut a bouquet for a special occasion or simply to brighten their home.
Fresh cut varieties
This year, with the opening of the Mt. View Orchards wedding venue, we are delighted to announce that we have greatly expanded our flower fields. We are now growing over 60 varieties of plush dahlias, as well as sunflowers, hollyhocks, cosmos, lilies, and a wide variety of other flowers. Whether you are looking for exquisite, fresh-cut blooms to complete the arrangements for your wedding or event, to beautify your restaurant, or just to add color to your kitchen table, you’re sure to find them here.
